Growth strategy & positioning
Clarify the opportunity, guide product and service research and development, and align the value proposition, priorities, and commercial choices behind one focused growth plan.
Growth strategy · Financial discipline · Partner leadership
MLX Growth Partners helps owner-led organizations set direction, connect commercial and financial operations to the plan, and coordinate the specialist team responsible for delivery.

What MLX is
Individual specialists can solve individual pieces. But as priorities multiply, someone still has to see the whole field and hold the shared objective.
MLX leads the growth mandate: clarifying direction, sequencing the work, coordinating the right contributors, and keeping decisions and accountability visible from plan to delivery.
You keep ownership. MLX keeps the work aligned.

About AJ

Strategic operator · Business builder · Community leader
AJ Bennett leads MLX Growth Partners with cross-sector operating experience spanning professional sport, hospitality, public service, property management and investments, community leadership, and business finance. He helped launch the Toronto Raptors as an inaugural NBA team front-office Community Relations Assistant, while also contributing to basketball and game operations.
At Angus Glen Golf Club, AJ worked across guest hospitality, golf operations, marketing, special-event production, project management, and logistics. His broader production, project-management, and logistics work includes collaboration with Timo, NBA- and WNBA-related community programming, and activations in PGA- and LPGA-related event settings.
Beyond sport and venues, AJ’s experience includes claims adjudication with Ontario’s Ministry of Health, property management and investments, and helping launch Yonge-Dundas Square, where he contributed to early business, marketing, and operating plans. He also served as Community Engagement Vice-Chair with the Canadian Cancer Society, supporting partnership development, community participation, and fundraising.
His recent work includes product and service research and development, financial planning, and hands-on financial operations—fundraising support, budgeting, QuickBooks, payroll processing, reconciliation, and management reporting. He also streamlines and automates appropriate administrative, bookkeeping, and accounting workflows, coordinating with CPAs and other qualified advisers when specialist oversight is required. This range matters because growth problems rarely sit in one department: AJ connects the commercial objective to the people, operating systems, financial discipline, and specialist support needed to carry it through.

How we work
The coordinating umbrella
MLX remains the strategic relationship lead while independent partners contribute to clearly defined roles. That keeps expertise flexible and the client Xperience coherent.
Look across strategy, offers, capacity, systems, and ownership before adding more activity.
Set the priorities, sequence, scopes, dependencies, and decisions that will move the work.
Coordinate the right specialist partners as needed, with each contributor accountable for a clear role.
Maintain the operating rhythm, learn from performance, and protect client control as the plan evolves.
Performance mindset
The Major League Xperience
MLX applies non-clinical lessons from sport—preparation, role clarity, resilience, teamwork, and recovery—to the realities of business execution.

Clarify the objective, the roles, and the conditions for a strong performance.
Move as one team, with decisions and next actions visible.
Study the signals, not just the score, and turn insight into the next adjustment.
Create the space and resilience required to sustain the next cycle.
Where MLX fits
At an inflection point
MLX is designed for owner-led organizations navigating growth, complexity, or change—especially when the next move crosses more than one discipline.
Growth plans are moving faster than operational readiness
Multiple partners are working without one accountable lead
Offers, marketing, and follow-up need to work as one system
Critical customer data and digital assets need clearer control
Start with the real decision
